Bachelors and Masters Students

Bachelors and Masters students interested in forest pathology topics are welcome to contact us to see about available thesis project opportunities. It is a great way to gain practical field and/or laboratory experience in an independent project, and become part of the ‘team’!

All available PhD projects will be advertised in open competition on SLU’s website and also posted here. Please ‘Like’ our Facebook page to receive regular updates of advertised positons and other happenings in the lab. If you are already a PhD student working elsewhere and would like to gain some experience working in our Forest Pathology Lab, e.g. spending a semester or short-term research stay working on your own or another collaborative project, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Funed Post-doc projects will be advertised in open positions on SLU’s website and also posted here. Please ‘Like’ our Facebook page to receive regular updates. If you are interested in working in the Forest Pathology Lab at SLU Alnarp and you have an idea you would like to pursue, please contact us to see about possibilities to apply for funding for Post-doc employment. You may also join the lab under your own financing possibilities from e.g. national research funders in your home country.

Our lab has hosted several international scholars and visiting PhD students over the years for short-term stays. Our latest visitor is Professor Enrico Bonello who received the prestigous Fullbright Fellowship and spent his sabbatical here during several months during 2023.
